Do Something Giveaway

While we all watch in astonishment at the tragedy in Japan and the recovery that follows, I would like to encourage everyone to dismiss their feeling of helplessness and do something. Give.  Pray.  Act. 
With that in mind, here are the rules for this month's giveaway:


The prize:


The Finis Lap Track underwater timer and lap counter (worth $75!)


The rules:
1. Winner will be decided by random number generator on 27 March.


2. Entries:
a. Follow the blog, leave a comment: 1 entry.
b. Donate to any relief organization (I don't care if it's $1 or $1,000) to assist with this or another ongoing recovery effort. Leave a comment naming the organization to which you gave: 5 entries.
c. Tweet/blog/facebook post etc about the contest, leave a comment: 1 entry each.


Good luck to all. Please keep all of those in peril, as well as those trying to rescue them, in your prayers.

    I am so with you on this. One thing, folks need to definitely research who they are giving to so they are sure the $ is going to Japan, not some scumbag taking advantage...Charity Navigator is a pretty good tool (just FYI). Anyway, I donated to Direct Relief International.
